Uonuma and Niigata Prefecture are renowned throughout Japan as a "treasure trove of local sake." If you visit this region, you should definitely try the sake, which is full of the aroma and flavor unique to a rice-producing area. We recommend trying different brands (dry, rich, fruity, etc.) to find your favorite before purchasing, or enjoying it slowly with food at our adjoining restaurant.
